A massive dome of high pressure bulging up from the Southwest will overtake Seattle this weekend, sending the mercury soaring more than 20 degrees above average. High temperatures at Sea-Tac Airport, where the city’s official weather readings are taken, should be hugging the upper 60s this time of year. Instead, we’re likely to flirt with 90 degrees by Sunday.
