The NAM–the model that predicted a couple inches of snow across metro Seattle last night–has done an about-face this morning. The latest run of the NAM (the “12Z” version) forecasts no snow whatsoever for Puget Sound tonight–an unfortunate flip-flop for those of us who love snow (myself included)!
The 12Z NAM is now in agreement with the University of Washington’s WRF model, which also calls for no snow accumulations tonight. At this point, I’d say our chances of getting hit are minimal (less than 5%) at best. Thankfully, it’s only November…
