Saturday’s rain and wind notwithstanding, it’s been remarkably dry around here in recent months, with Seattle recording just half the normal amount of rainfall since October. Big storms have been hard to come by, with fog or sunshine the dominant weather of late. Some love it, others can’t stand it. What do you think?

Sure, it's been wet, and yes, it's been windy at times—but overall, this December has largely been devoid of truly impactful weather.
30 years ago...
I feel like the answer options had a certain bias to them- I was compelled to choose the Drop-dead boring one 🙂 But it’s true- I crave strong winds, some crazy downpours. And of course, the more snow, the better! Sadly, this has been a pretty boring winter so far.
Admittedly, I probably could have left the “drop-dead” off. If only that’s what would happen to this never-ending ridge of high pressure!
Drop-dead boring is right! I moved from San Diego to San Fran area to here… I feel like this high pressure is trying to get me to move to Alaska 🙂
